The photos that prove France has the most beautiful vineyards in the world
And you'll find more than just wine here

A French vineyard escape is one of the most delightful ways to spend a holiday in Europe - and we don't just mean for the wine! France is home to some of the world's most breathtaking vineyards, along with heritage cheesemakers and lively farmers markets, making it the perfect location for an unforgettable foodie break, just a short hop from the UK.
SAIL TO FRENCH VINEYARDS WITH GH
Famous worldwide for its wine, its highly-regarded vintages have earned it a reputation among the most respected connoisseurs and foodies. On a French vineyard break, you'll have the chance to taste the best wines from the Champagne, Burgundy and Rhone regions, and can also explore the marvellous countryside, chateaux and towns that perfectly complement a French wine tour.
A French vineyard holiday offers beautiful rural scenes and more. From the city of Reims (Champagne) and its striking cathedral to the beautiful architecture of Beaune (Burgundy), there are many scenic locations to explore while sampling world-class wines.
In fact, we're so enamoured with the vineyards of France that we're heading to the country to get our wine fix. We'll be going on a French river cruise with TV chef Tom Kerridge, which you're invited to join. The gastro-cruise along the Garonne and Dordogne rivers will take in Bordeaux, Fort Médoc, Cadillac, Blaye, and Libourne, visiting plenty of vineyards along the way.
We'll be exploring more of Bordeaux and the Medoc on an eight-day cruise with Michelin-starred chef Raymond Blanc. There'll be plenty of chances to taste fine wines, including a sampling of Sauternes at the Château Royal de Cazeneuve in Cadillac and a trip to the Cité du Vin museum in Bordeaux.
To show you why a French vineyard break is worth the trip, we've rounded up some of the most beautiful photos of France's fabulous vineyards.
