Sex and the City's Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis celebrated their 25-year-strong friendship on Wednesday, 7 June — sharing some adorable snaps with fans.

Taking to social media, Cynthia marked the pair's friendship by sharing some cute snaps of herself and Kristin together — with Cynthia's beloved cat, Aurora, also making an appearance! Captioning two images, Cynthia said: "Here’s to 25 years of incredible friendship! Thanks for playing hooky with me and Aurora, @IAmKristinDavis. We ❤️ you!"

In the pictures, the duo can be seen with huge smiles on their faces as Kristin enjoys a cuddle with the adorable Aurora. Replying to Cynthia's post, Kristin sweetly said "Love you too ❤️❤️❤️🐈"
