Rory Dobner received his first big break in 2011 when a buyer at Liberty noticed one of his hand drawn portraits in the background of a photo of his wife.
Liberty sold the first handful of Rory’s whimsical work almost instantly and he now has his own dedicated area in the Liberty Gift Room, filled with an array of items that includes candles, paperweights, cushions and plates.
His eccentric ink drawings largely portray anthropomorphic animals – smoking fish, gun toting octopuses and cupcake eating lizards are just a few of his designs. His wildly imaginative style means that children and adults alike adore his characters, making them a really fun addition to anybody’s home.
His talents aren’t just limited to drawings, as Rory also lends his talents to sculptures, paintings, home furnishings and even tattoos!
