Paddington Bear first appeared as a fictional character in the children's book A Bear Called Paddington by the British author Michael Bond back in 1958, he then went on to feature in 29 of his other books. Now living in London, Paddington originally came from Peru.
Sharing his story in a animation film in 2014 and then a sequel in 2017 along with a series in 2019, Paddington in Peru (the third movie) is set to hit UK cinemas on the 8 November 2024. With huge stars including Ben Whishaw playing Paddington Bear's voice, as well as Olivia Coleman and Hugh Bonneville voices set to feature in the film, the blockbuster film is set to be a hit this winter.

The official synopsis from the distributor StudioCanal UK says the storyline will follow: "Paddington's story to Peru as he returns to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, who now resides at the Home for Retired Bears. With the Brown Family in tow, a thrilling adventure ensues when a mystery plunges them into an unexpected journey through the Amazon rainforest and up to the mountain peaks of Peru."
