Holly Willoughby is due back on screen shortly, with her summer break from This Morning coming to an end.

If anyone is wondering what the star has been up to over her holiday, as well as working on her own book that's out soon, Holly also seems to have been doing a lot of reading; sharing her favourite summer reads with fans on Instagram. Taking to the social media platform, Holly gave an insight into some of her and her family's recent reads.

As for her "reading highlights" of the summer, Holly said she was "struggling to choose between two very different reads." Her two highlights were The Family Upstairs and The Big Book of Angels.

What to read next

The Family Upstairs is a thriller, all based around the intrigue of a murder mystery. Good Housekeeping's Books Editor, Jo Finney, has plenty of praise for it, saying: "Lisa Jewell is brilliant at creating a menacing atmosphere and this is almost unbearably tense at times, with a knock-the-wind-out-of-you ending."
