Rochelle Humes has released her second children's book, The Mega Magic Teacher Swap, today (6 August). It centres on the same best friends, Mai and Rose, as her first book The Mega Magic Hair Swap, but this time follows the girls apprehensively starting a new school year.
The TV presenter excitedly posted a snap of herself with the book to her Instagram page to talk a little about the book and its launch.
"Good Morning...And just like that it’s publication day," she wrote in the caption, announcing; "My second children’s book ‘The Mega Magic Teacher Swap’ is out today!"
Timed for release ahead of the annual September return to school, the book is even more timely than originally planned, given the events that have unfolded this year.
"My goal when writing this book was to make little ones feel confident and excited about moving up a new school year as it can be such a scary time for them," Rochelle explained.
"Little did I know this book would be released during a global pandemic. It now seems more poignant than before.
"After spending so much time at home September will be a bit of a shock, I really hope this book helps you and your babies...it has mine 💘💕 "
The book is available to buy now, as is the successful first book in the series The Mega Magic Hair Swap, which teaches children about loving themselves and particularly their hair, as Mai and Rose magically switch hair before realising they were perfect as they were.
