The BAFTA Film Awards were a more low-key affair than previous year's ceremonies, but that didn't mean the outfits weren't as glamorous.

The ceremony took place at London's Royal Albert Hall last night (11 April), with nominees joining the ceremony virtually throughout the evening.

The show's presenters pull out all the stops with their award- show looks on the red carpet, from Bridgerton's Phoebe Dyvenor to Prianka Chopra Jonas.

The biggest winner of the night was Nomadland, a drama about a woman who lives in a van in the American West after the financial crash. It won Best Film, Best Director for Chloe Zhao, Best Cinematography and Best Actress for Frances McDormand.

It's only the second time in BAFTA's 53 year history that a woman has taken home Best Director - the other was Kathryn Bigelow for The Hurt Locker in 2010.

Promising Young Woman was the other big winner, being awarded Best British Film and landing Best Screenplay for writer Emerald Fennell, who's best known for her role as Camilla Parker Bowles in The Crown.
