Supermodel Yasmin Le Bon shares a special bond with her daughter, model and DJ Amber, as she explained during the launch of their new shared project. In a release to celebrate the new collaboration with George at Asda (co-styled by the mother-daughter duo), Yasmin praised the ‘unspoken connection’ she shares with Amber saying, ‘it is so beautiful to be able to work with my daughter.' She added that, ‘more than anything we have a real laugh together.’
While the new collection will be Yasmin’s second with the brand, its her first bringing Amber onboard, with the ethos being to show how ‘the same pieces can be styled across generations’, according to a release by Asda. Meanwhile, her Amber said that ‘shooting with Mama made [the project] even more special.’ She added that while she and her mum ‘have such different styles’, they ‘always inspire each other’, referring to their latest collection as ‘ageless’.
‘At 60, Yasmin continues to prove that style is timeless, while Amber brings a fresh perspective,’ it continued. ‘Together, they embody the emotional thread of inherited style, fashion as a shared language, passed down but always made one’s own.’ Yasmin echoed the statement herself saying that ‘fashion is now more than ever timeless, ageless and attainable.’
