Courteney Cox made our day this week, when she shared photographs of a reunion with fellow members of the original Friends cast. Taking to Instagram, Courteney posted a selection of snaps to celebrate co-star Lisa Kudrow's birthday.

In the first image, the duo are snapped laughing together, while a second shows Lisa on her own, smiling across the table during a dinner. But it was the third photograph which got fans most excited, as Courteney and Lisa were joined in a nostalgic selfie by Matt LeBlanc.

In a caption, Courteney said that she had 'looked up to' Lisa since the day the met. She described her co-star and long-term friend, as 'bold', 'smart' and 'articulate' and said she 'cares deeply and loves even deeper.' Courteney added that there's 'never a time I don't feel better having seen her' and also addressed Lisa directly by her nickname, writing 'Happy birthday my Loot!'

Lisa celebrated her 62nd birthday on Wednesday (30 July) and has been busy with her show The Comeback on HBO Max, which recently announced a third series. There's no official release date confirmed yet, but we do know that it will premiere in the US next year.

The Comeback is set in Los Angeles and sees Lisa lead as former A-list star Valerie Cherish, who is attempting to revive her career. It's a 'mockumentary' style comedy, with Valerie leading around an exasperated film crew to document her attempted climb back towards stardom.

The Comeback is available to stream in the UK on Apple TV+, Prime Video and NOW TV.
