Stacey Solomon has returned to Instagram with her first grid post in five weeks - sharing gorgeous summery snaps with three of her children, the family dogs and a couple of chickens, of course. Alongside the images, Stacey shared a relatable message to other parents ahead of the school holidays.

In the first photo, Stacey unwinds on a bench with her kids and two dogs gathered around her, all smiling together. In the next, her daughter Rose sits in her wellies while a pair of chickens join her on the bench.

Stacey revealed that it was her sister who had captured the images of the family, saying in a caption, 'my sister came over just now to say hi & just cracked up at us lazing around in the chicken run 😂 she took these pictures & they made me smile so much.'

Stacey said that the images 'sum up the start of summer' and that she was glad to be 'finally home from work & ready for some time with the pickles' (the nickname she gives her children). She added that she's been 'counting down the days' to spend more time with them.

The presenter ended the post with a message to other families over the school summer break saying, 'Good luck for the next 6 weeks parents & carers 😂🙏🏼🖤'

Earlier this year, Stacey revealed that she had taken a special break away with her oldest son, Zach, as the mother-son duo enjoyed a two day break in Paris together.

While in the French capital, the pair enjoyed an usual alternative to traditional sight-seeing as Stacey said, 'We went Pokemon hunting yesterday & today, it’s something we’ve done for years & have never been to a proper city Go Fest. So for his birthday this year we got tickets.'

While Stacey has young children at home she said that 'having a young adult son like Zach is just the absolute dream & spending time with just us two doesn’t happen often but when it does my soul regenerates.'
