Everyone's favourite on-screen mother-daughter duo Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan reunited this weekend to promote Freakier Friday, the sequel to their iconic 2003 film, Freaky Friday. At the press junket event in LA, the pair were the perfect double act and looked like they were having plenty of fun as they messed around with props for photographers.
In the snaps, Lindsay and Jamie pose with Freakier Friday-themed merchandise, including popcorn holders and drinks cups, as well as throwing popcorn around in the air. In a behind-the-scenes shot, Lindsay can be seen taking a selfie with her on-screen mum, while the team set up for the press event in the background.
Jamie opted for a satin red dress and rocked her silver hair in a close pixie crop. She went for warm, glowy glam featuring peach blush and shimmering eyeshadow. Lindsay also chose soft, peachy shades, wearing her blonde hair in long, soft waves over a black mini dress.
In Freakier Friday, we see Lindsay reprise her role as Anna, and Jamie as Tess, picking their story up 22 years later. Anna is now mother to a teenage daughter, Harper and is about to become stepmother to another - Lily - as she prepares to marry Lily's dad, Eric. Anna hopes her bachelor party will bring everyone together - but it works a little too well when she, Tess, Harper and Lily find themselves switching bodies.
With the teens now appearing to be Anna and Tess, they decide to find a way to sabotage their parents' relationship and call off the wedding. Chad Michael Murray also returns as Jake, Anna's motorbike-riding love interest from the original film.
Freakier Friday will launch in cinemas across the UK from 8 August.
