The Princess of Wales’ parents, Carole and Michael Middleton have arrived at Wimbledon for day 8 of The Championships at the All England Lawn and Tennis Club. While Kate herself hasn’t made an appearance yet this year, her parents were spotting strolling into the grounds, with Carole wearing a very familiar look.
For the occasion, Carole has chosen a midi shirt dress with caramel stripes and her daughter, Kate, wore a very similar look for her most recent outing. Last week (2 July) The Princess of Wales was in Essex visiting the RHS Wellbeing Garden at Colchester hospital and also wore a caramel striped shirt, which she paired with a co-ordinating pinstriped blazer.
During the visit, Kate planted ’Catherine' roses which were named in her honour, and funds from sales of the plants go to support the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. The Royal Marsden is where Kate received her own treatment, so it’s a cause close to her heart.
If you’re interested in Carole’s most-recent look and channelling Kate’s caramel striped style yourself, take a look at some of our favourite shirt dresses from across the high street:
Last month, Carole Middleton attended another headline summer event – Royal Ascot – alongside many members of the royal family. While Kate wasn’t able to attend in the end, Carole brought Alizee Thevenet, who is married to Kate’s brother James Middleton.
Carole was welcomed by The King and other Royal Family members and appeared to be having a wonderful time at the races alongside other guests. On the day, Carole opted for a lace midi dress in this season’s favourite colour: butter yellow. Her exact dress was the Two Tone Lace-Blend Midi Dress Two-Tone Lace, which is still available (at time of writing) to buy online.
The Championships 2025 takes place from Monday 30 June to Sunday 13 July at the All England Lawn and Tennis Club in Wimbledon, London.
