It's official, Wimbledon is back and in full swing for the summer, with some of our favourite stars already arriving to watch the action. On day one (Monday 20 June) it was a family affair, as Sir David Beckham brought his mum Sandra along, and the pair were spotted sitting side by side in the stands at the All England Lawn and Tennis Club.
We couldn't help but notice a special fashion connection between Sir David and Sandra, as they arrived in co-ordinating looks. The duo both wore cream blazers for the occasion, with Sir David choosing a cappuccino-coloured tie to match Sandra's top in the same shade.
The neutral-toned suit look is reminiscent of what the duo wore to the tennis last year, for the 2024 event.
This week, the pair appeared to be enjoying the tennis as well as each other's company, as they were snapped laughing and chatting together, along with other spectators. Sitting on Sir David's other side, was former manager of the England football team, Sir Gareth Southgate.
Sir David played for England for 13 years and captained between 2000 and 2006. This was before Sir Gareth's time as manager (who oversaw the England team from 2016 until last year), but the trio were seen catching up animatedly.
Also attending the tennis on Day One were a host of celebrities including Dame Joanna Lumley (in spectacular leopard print trousers), Rochelle and Marvin Humes, Chris O'Dowd and Dawn O' Porter. There were even some royal faces spotted in the crowd, as Princess Beatrice arrived with her mum Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York.
