In a feel-good moment this week, Courteney Cox revealed that she'd recently reunited for an evening with former Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston. The second snap in a carousel of images posted by Courtney reveals the two of them smiling across the table from one another, with what looks like the perfect 'girl dinner' between them.

'Girl dinner', otherwise known as 'picky tea', has become popular across social media (particularly TikTok), and refers to an eclectic mix of foods which don't require much prep. The aim is to have tasty but low maintenance food to share with your best gal pals. And seeing the drinks and open jar of chocolate biscuits on the table across from Jen and Courtney, it looks like they've got the concept nailed. Swipe through below to see the snap:

The stars appear to be cosying up in Courteney's luxurious LA home (sadly, not a purple New York apartment), judging by the table of framed photographs and dog beds visible in the background (Courtney has two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Lily and Bear).

Fans were hugely excited to see the pair reunited, and flooded the comments with words of support alongside snaps and GIFs of the duo as Rachel and Monica in scenes from Friends together. It's clear the pals are still very close; earlier this year, Courteney shared a throwback photo of the pair at an awards event in honour of Jennifer's birthday. She penned a personal message to Jen in the caption alongside the image.

In it, she called Jen her "friend for life' adding that there had never been "a more generous, loving, beautiful, talented, funny, loyal friend,". She finished the post by saying she feels "so lucky to be growing up with" Jen. We love that, in their 50s, they're still growing together - there's nothing like the power of female friends.
