Meg Ryan was back at the Oscars this year for the first time in 27 years, and we couldn't get enough as she shared a moving moment with Demi Moore backstage at the awards.
The When Harry Met Sally favourite returned to the event for a on-stage reunion with co-star Billy Crystal, as the pair presented the award for Best Picture. However, it was a backstage moment with Demi Moore which got us the most excited at this year's event.
The two iconic actors have decades of experience in the industry between them, and appeared to be close supporters of one another as they were captured sharing a sweet embrace during the Oscars, in an unexpected behind-the-scenes moment.
After the runaway success of her latest film, The Substance, Demi Moore has been a hot contender across the awards season, winning a SAG Award for outstanding performance by a female actor in a leading role.
The star was also nominated for an Oscar at this year's event in the Best Actress category, but was pipped to the post on this occasion by Mikey Madison for her role in Anora. This film swept the board with further wins for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and Best Editing, as well as being nominated in the supporting actor category.
The last time Meg Ryan attended the annual Academy Awards was over two decades previously, and the star looked stunning for the occasion.
Joining Billy Crystal on stage at the event, Meg opted for a strapless gown which swept the floor and featured a structured bodice. The red velvet finish gave the look a truly luxurious feel.
Meg's latest appearance comes after she and Billy teased a new project together on social media. Fans began speculating what this could be (and whether a sequel to the iconic 1980s film, When Harry Met Sally could be on the cards) before it was revealed that the duo were co-starring in a Superbowl commercial together.
