Just when we thought we’d been gifted our fair share of brilliant revenge thrillers for one month, a new one comes along – and one that might even top the likes of Killing Eve at that. Catherine Zeta-Jones is leading the cast of Amazon Prime Video’s latest offering, Kill Jackie – and having had a sneak peek at the details, we’d recommend adding it to your watch list immediately.
The eight-part female-led series will see Catherine step into the shoes of Jackie Price, a former cocaine dealer who has escaped a dangerous past and spent the last 20 years trying to stay anonymous. So far, so good. Only it seems her past is about to catch up with her and the consequences could be deadly.

What's the plot of Kill Jackie?
The eight-part series is based on the novel, The Price You Pay, by Sunday Times best-selling author Nick Harkaway. Catherine Zeta-Jones, who we last saw in Netflix's Wednesday, will play Jackie Price who’s been living a luxurious existence for the last 20 years - travelling the world and selling fine art using sophisticated tax loopholes – while also trying to stay anonymous after escaping a dangerous past as an international cocaine dealer. But just as life starts to feel somewhat peaceful, she discovers The Seven Demons, a squad of the world’s most terrifying hitmen, have been hired to kill her.
Assuming someone from her past is behind it, Jackie unleashes her old instincts and embarks on a dangerous game plan: to get revenge herself and take each of The Demons down one by one before they kill her. But will her buried secrets catch up with her? And will The Demons get her before she gets them?
Killing Eve's Damon Thomas is the lead director on the series, while Catherine also serves as an executive producer and has shared how thrilled she is to be working on a female-driven plot. “I’m thrilled to be a part of Kill Jackie both behind and in front of the camera,” she says. “The opportunity to bring this multifaceted character to life, and explore a female driven plot that encompasses empowerment, identity, and redemption is something I’m looking forward to.”

How can I watch Kill Jackie?
Amazon Prime Video haven’t confirmed a release date just yet, but we do know that Kill Jackie will begin production next month (March 2025) in Bilbao, Lisbon, London and Swansea (the latter being Catherine's hometown). That means, we’re likely to see it on our screens at some point in 2026.
