When it comes to the most popular baby girl names, the top spot has been pretty steady for a while now - Olivia has been the top-ranked name for girls since 2016 and has been in the top three every year since 2006. Meanwhile, Olivia, Amelia and Isla held the top three spots for baby girl names for the second year in a row.
And new addition to this year's list include the likes of Lilah, Raya and Hazel for girls.

Looking for more unsual names? For baby girls, seasonal names such as Autumn and Summer increased in popularity and are now both ranked in the top 100.
New parents likely influenced by Netflix show Wednesday also meants that weekday names such as Sunday and Wednesday rose in popularity.

Whether we like it or not, the entertainment world from our watching habits to the artists we listen to can play a huge part when it comes to picking baby names.
With that in mind, the popularity of blockbuster movie Barbie, meant that an additional 215 baby girls were named Margot after lead actress Margot Robbie in 2023.
Pop culture influenced names such as Billie, Lana, Miley and Rihanna also saw a jump in popularity, taking inspiration from stars like Billie Eilish and Lana Del Ray and Rihanna, who embarked on tours or released albums that year.
