As we mentioned, the film is on the bestselling novel by Ruth Ware. It follows Lo Blacklock (Keira Knightley), a travel journalist who lands what seems to be a dream assignment on a luxury cruise ship.

Her excitement quickly turns to fear, however, when she witnesses what she believes to be a murder - only to be told that she must have dreamt it, because the woman she saw never existed. All passengers, it seems, are accounted for. But are they really? As Lo looks for answers, she faces danger at every turn.

Ware told Netflix's Tudum: “Cabin 10, at its heart, is about a woman who experiences something wrong, reports it truthfully, and isn’t taken seriously because of who she is. Too many people know what that feels like and I think we want vindication for ourselves as much as Lo.”
