Strictly Come Dancing star Janette Manrara has introduced her daughter to the world of ballet for her very first lesson.

The pro dancer, who’s married to fellow Strictly star Aljaž Škorjanec, has shared a few snaps of Lyra Rose during her first ballet experience. The images and videos include some highlights from the class as well as a good look at Lyra Rose’s all-pink ballet attire.

‘First ever ballet class today with @babyballetworld and it was a huge success,’ Janette captioned the Instagram carousel, calling her daughter ‘The coolest little ballerina in town’ and adding a ballet shoes emoji.

Strictly fans flocked to the comments section to gush over Lyra Rose’s adorable outfit, with one person writing: ‘I literally cannot cope with those leg warmers.’

‘Imagine going to do a dance class with your kid and seeing 2 Strictly dancers there,’ was another comment, while someone else offered: ‘Oh my heart, can’t tell who had more fun Lyra or u and aljaz.’

Strictly pro Johannes Radebe was among Lyra Rose’s fans as he commented, ‘What a day,’ with three heart-eyed emojis.

Last month, the It Takes Two co-host celebrated her husband Aljaž’s return to Strictly for its 20th anniversary.

‘We started our @bbcstrictly journey together back in 2013, and now for the 20th year anniversary, we’ll both be back on your screens once again!’ Janette wrote on Instagram alongside some photos her and Aljaž, as well as one of her husband with their daughter.

‘I am so happy the country gets to enjoy the smiliest man in showbiz once again.’

Strictly Come Dancing will return later this year on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
