The Princess of Wales has arrived at Wimbledon to watch the final day of The Championships today (Sunday 14 July).
The Princess was joined by her daughter Princess Charlotte and her sister, Pippa Middleton to watch the action, waving as she received applause during a standing ovation from the crowd.
Kate looked elegant in a purple dress with gathered detailing across the bodice, while Princess Charlotte wore a navy polka dot dress with a ribbon in her hair. Pippa sat alongside the mother-daughter duo in a pink floral dress and matching hairstyle to her niece, Princess Charlotte.
It was confirmed yesterday (Saturday 13 July) that Kate would be attending the Men's Singles Final, but not which of her children of other family members would be joining her.
Kate stepped back from public duties earlier this year for health reasons, taking time away to undergo and recover from her treatment. Last month, Kate returned to public events to celebrate The King's birthday at the Trooping of the Colour parade with her husband, Prince William and their three children, as well as other members of the extended Royal Family.
Kate has been a Wimbledon regular since 2008, so many will have been hoping she would attend the event again this year. Over the years, The Princess has been both a spectator as well as a participant, watching the action from the Royal Box as well as presenting various trophies for the competition.
