The streamer confirmed during its Upfront presentation on Wednesday (15 May) that Diaz's film Back in Action will be released on 15 November, 2024.

The Charlie's Angels star has come out of retirement for her first movie since 2014's Annie remake to star with Jamie Foxx in the action comedy.

A decade on, the former agents are suddenly thrust back into the world of international espionage when their cover is blown.

Horrible Bosses and Identity Thief filmmaker Seth Gordon has penned the Back in Action script alongside Brendan O'Brien (Bad Neighbours and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem), with Gordon also on board to direct.

Production was impacted last year when Jamie Foxx was hospitalised suddenly for a major medical emergency. He has since said he is "thankful" to have survived such an "unexpected dark journey".
