The anniversary of the death of Sir Winston Churchill will be marked by a nationwide programme of events in 2015.
Here's how you can get involved and celebrate the life of one of Britain's most iconic figures from the last century:
1. Ancestral grandeur at Blenheim
At Blenheim Palace, visit the room in which he was born in November 1874, the romantic gardens in which he proposed to Clementine and pore over his letters and family photographs in a special exhibition.
2. At home with the family at Chartwell
At Chartwell, the family home in south-east England, the rooms in the house are much as they were when Churchill lived there in the interwar period.
3. The man at work: Churchill War Rooms
While in the Churchill War Rooms in London visitors can listen to some of his rousing speeches including the famous lines, ‘I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat.'
