Nicole Kidman has revealed how her daughter Sunday impacted the third season of Big Little Lies.
Season 3 of HBO's black comedy drama is in development five years after the show last aired.
During an interview with Vogue Australia, Kidman revealed that Sunday watched the series for the first time recently and ended up being passionate about a third season happening.
"She has a very good understanding of things, and life, so she was hand-held through it," the star said.
"And she was like, 'No. There's no more discussion. The third series has to happen... I'm sick of the talk. Sick of circling it. Just get it done'. You need a teenager to go, 'Enough. Just do it'."
On her relationship with Big Little Lies co-star and co-producer Reese Witherspoon, Kidman shared: "We are very close. We live in the same city five minutes from each other and we spend enormous amounts of our off-work time together.
"We're always like, 'We could do this, and we could do that!' And now, the train has left the station."
Kidman confirmed season 3 was in the works in November last year.
Laura Dern, who plays Renata Klein, recently offered an update to Entertainment Weekly, saying: "We love each other so much and would have the time of our life being back together, and we love our characters so much.
"I truly know what you know. But I know that it is something that they are working diligently at dreaming up, and I sure hope it comes to fruition."
Big Little Lies aired on HBO in the US and on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
