When it comes to skiwear, fashion rarely comes before function - for most of us at least, the non-negotiable role of our puffer-clad winter wardrobe is to keep us warm and snug.

But it certainly doesn't hurt to look chic while braving the colder climes. However, when it comes to the slopes, how do you "do" chic skiwear?

Showing us just how to do so last weekend (3 February) was Anne Hathaway, who sported an all-white ensemble while attending the Moncler Grenoble’s first destination fashion show, which took place amongst the snow-dusted mountains of St Moritz.

Anne sat on the front row (next to Moncler's CEO, Remo Ruffini) in an oversized white puffer, before having her photo taken in a sleek one-piece suit.

From her infamous Devil Wears Prada wardrobe to her constant stream of glamorous red carpet looks, Anne Hathaway is no stranger to the allure of a timelessly chic outfit, but nonetheless her latest masterclass in skiwear has certainly piqued our interest.

Anne opted for an all-white belted suit which she layered over a black polo neck. Draped over her shoulders was a white shearling trim jacket. For a finishing touch, Anne accessorised with a metallic baguette bag.

Despite the look leaning into the utilitarian trend, Anne's outfit was undoubtedly equal parts beautiful and timeless.

As the actress demonstrates, perhaps skiwear needn't be reserved solely for the slopes after all...
