For the past 30 years, Davina McCall has devoted her career to television, having fronted countless documentaries and entertainment shows - not to mention being the face of Big Brother during its noughties heyday.

The TV presenter has also used her platform to campaign for better conversation around the menopause and how we can revolutionise support for women going through it.

So, it's no wonder then that yesterday (31 January), Davina received an MBE for her services to broadcasting.

Davina's navy floral gown was from designer dress brand, Rebecca Vallance, while her fascinator was the Arc headpiece crafted by Camilla Rose Millinery. Complete with a black peachbloom felt oval and finished with stunning black silk abaca loops, it made for the perfect accessory for a special day.

As for her footwear, Davina opted for classic black court shoes from Gina.

Following an investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace (in which Princess Anne made Davina an MBE), the broadcaster grinned and held up her medal as she posed for photos with her partner of four years, hairdresser, Michael Douglas, and her daughter, Holly Robertson.

In an exclusive interview in Good Housekeeping's February issue, cover star Davina opened up about the joy she's experiencing in midlife and her shock at receiving her MBE.

'You see other people who are teachers or athletes getting MBEs after doing something amazing. I'm an entertainment TV presenter and I didn't mind that I was never going to get one,' she told Good Housekeeping.

'But I guess I was given it because of all the menopause stuff l've done. I wasn't the first to speak about the topic; I'm one of several women, including Kirsty Wark and Mariella Frostrup, who have done so. But I think the time was right when my documentary came out in 2021.'

With her career in its prime, we can't wait to see what the future holds for Davina!
