Picture Glenn Close in a statement monochromatic look and your mind is likely to conjure up an image of Glenn's infamous 1996 portrayal of Disney villain, Cruella de Vil (complete with her now-iconic black and white wig and fur trimmed coat to match).
But, appearing at Paris Fashion Week, the actress has given her monochromatic wardrobe a 2024 update.
While attending the Spring/Summer 2024 shows for Christian Dior and Giorgio Armani, Glenn has been leaning into classic tailoring with timeless, chic trouser suits.
On Monday, Glenn attended the Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2024 show in a classic cream trouser suit, which she paired with a Dior Lady D-Joy Micro Bag.
The following day, the actress was seen sitting alongside Juliette Binoche and Gwyneth Paltrow in the front row of the Giorgio Armani Privé Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2024 show, having swapped her all-cream look for a black velvet coat (complete with an embellished collar), which she layered over a crisp white shirt.
As for Glenn's next big role, the three-time Tony, Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner soon be gracing our screens in Apple TV+’s new series The New Look, as she takes on the role of industry-leading editor in chief, Carmel Snow.
Streaming giant Apple TV+'s new series will also feature Ben Mendelsohn and Juliette Binoche, to bring to life the story of Carmel Snow, editor in chief of Harper’s Bazaar from 1934 to 1958, in a 10-episode historical drama.
The first three episodes will premiere on Apple TV+ in February 2024.
