Strictly Come Dancing finalists Layton Williams and his professional partner Nikita Guzman are reuniting for a new project.
The pair competed in the 2023 version of the reality series, placing as runners-up to Vito Coppola and Coronation Street star Ellie Leach, alongside Dianne Buswell and EastEnders' Bobby Brazier in Saturday's (December 16) final.
But, for fans already missing the pair, there's hope: Layton and Nikita will work together again on a dance workshop titled 'Dance with Lakita', taking place in Birmingham next month.
The workshop will be brought to Birmingham as part of the Pros From the Shows series, which sees theatre, TV and film stars give bespoke sessions to budding performers.
The workshops will take place on January 20 at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre, with one session aimed towards 7- to 17-year-olds at 10:30am and another for over-18s at 9:00am.
Tickets for both sessions are available now.
The workshop sessions aren't the only place fans can catch Layton and Nikita post-Strictly, as the pair will join six other celebrity contestants for the 2024 live arena tour.
Layton and Nikita wowed judges and audiences alike during their time on Strictly, only landing in the dreaded dance-off once. Despite not taking the Glitterball Trophy home, they achieved the highest score in the final, with two perfect 40 scores and one 39.
They were also the first couple of the series to win a 40 for their Paso Doble to the Moulin Rouge track 'Backstage Romance'.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
