Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell has paid tribute to her celebrity partner Bobby Brazier after missing out on the Glitterball Trophy.

Sharing her thoughts in a sweet post on Instagram, Dianne revealed that she felt "so grateful" to have been paired with the EastEnders star and that dancing with him had been a "win" for her.

"I used to be so obsessed with winning a sparkly trophy constantly thinking about that moment and what it would feel like," she wrote. "But what I have realised [is] dancing with this wonderful human is that the win and the sparkle is everywhere if you want it to be.

Dianne went on the write that Bobby's "only competition" on the show had been himself, with the actor wanting to be a "better dancer and a better professional" — adding that helping him achieve these goals had made her a "proud teacher".

Concluding her tribute to Bobby, Dianne added that she felt "lucky" to have been partnered with the actor and was excited to see what's next for him.

"I am so grateful that I was the lucky one to be partnered with Bobs and I am so excited for his bright future ahead. He is not just a real talent but a really lovely soul," she wrote.

"Thanks for making me enjoy my dancing like I was a little girl again, no fear, no anxiety, just love and passion for what I am able to do."

Saturday's final saw Coronation Street star Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola crowned Strictly's 2023 champions, beating Bobby and Dianne as well as Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin to the trophy, following the public vote.
