LEGO's Hogwarts Castle is reduced by 33% in Amazon's Black Friday sale

LEGO is most commonly known as a creative activity for kids, but the much-loved brand has been making bigger and better sets aimed at ages 18 plus.

Perhaps the most popular among LEGO's adult range is the Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle - a 2,500 piece model of the famous witchcraft and wizardry school featuring a main tower, astronomy tower, courtyards, the great hall, a boathouse, bridges and greenhouses.

While the castle comes with an expensive price tag — usually around £150 — it is currently on offer in Amazon's Black Friday sale. As part of the retailer's LEGO deals, the Hogwarts set has been reduced by 33% to £99.99.

It's the attention to detail included in LEGO's interpretation of Hogwarts that really makes it standout. Fans of the Harry Potter franchise will recognise features like the Black Lake, Chamber of Secrets and Potions classroom. It also comes with the magical Durmstrang Ship, Beauxbatons Carriage and the famous Ford Anglia that was enchanted by Arthur Weasley to fly. Once complete, the model castle measures over 21cm high and 35cm wide.

For a less challenging Harry Potter-themed Lego set, the Room of Requirement castle is also on offer for Black Friday, reduced from £44.99 to £28.99. Inspired by the iconic scene in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two, this smaller model is aimed at a younger audience and is suitable at age 8 plus.
