Louise Minchin discussed the importance of finding your happy place during a talk at Good Housekeeping Live, in partnership with Dyson.
Louise discusses why throwing herself into challenges and sport has become her happy place and said: "I'm happier version of myself when I do my endurance sport."
Joined by two amazing women featured in her new book Fearless: Adventures with Extraordinary Women, rugby-playing Zainab Alema and endurance athlete and multiple Guinness World Record Holder Mimi Anderson, also shared their stories of throwing themselves into their many different challenges.
Inspired by not just Zainab and Mimi's stories, Louise's book also champions 18 other women and explores what motivates them and how they find their resilience and determination, despite life's setbacks.
The former BBC presenter also shared her inspiration for her book, revealing that she has always felt passionate about sharing women's amazing stories and their achievements.
The star said during the talk: "All I wanted to do was meet these women and do what they love with them and tell their stories. That's one thing I can do to get their stories out...We all need heroes we can relate to."
After discussing some of the women's wonderful achievements, the panel also revealed what their next challenges are for 2024.
While Louise and Mimi were unsure of what may be their next endeavour, neonatal nurse and rugby player Zainab hopes to play for the women's England rugby team next year.
