This Contrast Collar and Cuff Mini Dress has been cut to an iconic shift silhouette and is crafted from a black whisper-weight viscose blend. Finished with a thick collar and white cuffs, this colour-block dress gives a nod to 1970s style.

While Joanna paired her dress with a crossbody bag and a silver necklace, you could match yours to black tights and loafers - or elevate the look with kitten heels for a smart occasion.

The Royal Family's Instagram page gave a glimpse into last night's event.

A collection of photos was captioned: "Tonight The King and Queen welcomed guests to Buckingham Palace to thank some of the many people who are part of the UK’s contribution to humanitarianism.

"The event also marked the 60th anniversary of the Disasters Emergency Committee, which brings together 15 leading UK aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently at times of crisis overseas.

"Their Majesties, accompanied by The Duke of Gloucester, spoke to a huge range of people from fundraisers to frontline workers, charity CEOs to refugees building new lives in the UK."
