Rylan Clark has given fans a happy update on his mum Linda's health, following her nasty fall and subsequent surgery last month.
Taking to Instagram yesterday (October 25), the presenter posted a sweet photo of Linda looking notably cheery.
"For the first time in 2 months she's managed to come round," he captioned the post. "Best birthday present. Don't make a habit of it tho dorrrlliiinnn".
The former Strictly: It Takes Two host has been providing his followers with regular updates on Linda since September, when he first announced that she had a bad fall while they were on holiday and needed surgery out there.
He also said that Linda's prior health conditions are likely to make the recovery process "more complicated".
Later that week, Rylan shared a photo of Linda in hospital with a cast on her leg following her surgery, captioning it: "Someone is out of the bed and in a chair. She can't believe how many people have sent messages."
He provided another update late in September, posting a video of Linda in a wheelchair as she used the hospital's platform lift.
