Taking to Instagram, the Loose Women panellist shared a video montage, using clips filmed from a day spent with her mum.

Ruth's simple pleasures with her mum included singing, dancing, drinking coffee, solving crossword puzzles and cooking together, as well as playing with her sweet 13-year-old rescue dog, Maggie.

Ruth's time spent with her mum comes after she's been busy with work. On top of her TV duties, she recently launched new items as part of her popular QVC collection.
