Created by Brad Falchuk and Byron Wu, The Brothers Sun is described as an action-packed, darkly comedic family soap. It will feature an all-Asian cast and an all-Asian writers' room.

Joining Yeoh in the cast are Two Sides: Unfaithful's Justin Chien, Better Call Saul star Sam Song Li, This is Us star Highdee Kuan and Dated's Joon Lee.

The eight-part series will follow gangster and ruthless killer Charles Sun (Chien), who travels from Taipei to LA after an unknown assassin murders his father. In LA, Charles is tasked with protecting his mother (Yeoh) and brother Bruce (Li).
