Former X Factor judge and music manager, Sharon Osbourne joined ITV presenters Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary on the This Morning sofa on Friday (29 October).
As Dermot and Sharon - who previously worked together on X Factor - reminisced about the show, Alison revealed that she too had played her part in the successful series, which is where she first met Sharon.
"You probably won't remember the first time you met me, because I was doing a 'behind-the-scenes' on X Factor," Alison told Sharon.
"They [the producers] said, 'You're going to do an audition.' I said, 'Well, let the judges know that it's a joke and I'm not really auditioning.' They went, 'No, we're not going to tell them!"
Next, resurfaced footage of Alison's prank audition played on the This Morning screen. In the clip, Alison is seen singing and pranking Sharon (and her fellow former X Factor judges, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh) in a hilarious 'wind-up'.
At the end of the video, a bewildered Sharon is seen asking, "Who is this lady?"
Back in the This Morning studio, Alison and Sharon were both roaring with laughter after the clip was played back.
Alison reflected, "You can see the nerves in my face, because it turned into something real... they [the judges] were really debating whether I was going to go through [to the next round] or not."
"[We were] really critiquing you!" Sharon added, chuckling.
While Alison's music career never hit it off the ground, the star has certainly earned her stripes on our screens as a TV presenter, with her latest gig including Great British Bake Off.
