Zoe Ball was joined by Take That on BBC Radio 2, live on air from Wogan House this morning (22 September).

Zoe welcomed Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald to The Friends Round Friday Special segment of her breakfast show, where they shared a big announcement.

The pop group revealed that they have a brand new track, which dropped at midnight last night, as well as their new album.

Zoe and Radio 2 listeners also heard all about Take That's brand new tour in 2024, kicking off in Sheffield in April and going to Wales, Scotland, Ireland and England until mid-June. Tickets go on sale next week.

Gary revealed that "our friend" and very special guest, Olly Mars, will be joining them for the duration of the tour.

"We’ve been together for 33 years now so it’s like, 'what’s next, how do we sound in 2023?'" Gary said. "There’s nothing more we love than going into a studio and going 'who are we now, how does our music sound now when it comes out?' and it feels fresh and it feels exciting and it feels like we’re looking upwards."

He added, "We’re at a nice time of life where we’re hopeful and there’s a lot of light in this music and we’re very excited for our audience to hear it, always."

After recording the show with Zoe, Take That greeted their fans who were eagerly waiting outside BBC's Wogan house in London.

Sharing a video of the encounter to Instagram, Zoe wrote: "The boys are back!"
