The King has been pictured continuing a green tradition, which was started by Queen Elizabeth II.
King Charles paid tribute to his late mother by planting a tree in the pretty garden of the British Residence in Paris.
A picture was shared of the King walking along with President of France, Emmanuel Macron. Accompanying it was a video of the pair gardening together, covering the roots of the tree with soil.
The caption read: "The King continues a tradition set by Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, by planting a tree in the British Residence in Paris. 🌳 Her Majesty planted three trees in the Garden - in 1957, 1972, and 2015."
Continuing the tradition was part of King Charles and Queen Camilla's first state visit to France.
During the trip, the royals also spent time with President Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, at the Élysée Palace in Paris.
And while in Paris, King Charles made history by becoming the first British monarch to address the French Senate.
Using his speech to address the climate crisis, he said: "The challenge facing our planet is both great and grave [...] must we strive together to protect the world from our most existential challenge of all - that of global warming, climate change and the catastrophic destruction of nature."
He continued: "Let us stride forward with hope and courage and do so together."
The King and The Queen will also travel to Versailles and Bordeaux. Their visit had been initially scheduled for March but had to be postponed due to mass strikes and protests.
