Michelle Yeoh posted several new photos to Instagram on Wednesday, 9 August, to give fans an insight into her 61st birthday.

Commemorating her birthday (which was on 6 August) the Everything Everywhere All At Once star shared snaps of herself celebrating her big day. Accompanied by a simple caption that reads "Happy Birthday 😂💖🌹💖", the image shows Michelle sitting in a restaurant with a cake in front of her. The cake is adorned with sparklers and candles and Michelle can be seen about to blow them out.

The second image shows a sunset above a lake, and the final image is a painting of Michelle holding her Golden Globe award, which she won last year for her performance in Everything Everywhere All At Once.

Writing to her over two million followers, Michelle captioned the selfie, "To all my family and friends… I will be swimming with dolphins on my birthday… my biggest gifts are your love and constant support. Her birthday comes a week after she married her long-term partner — ex-Ferrari CEO Jean Todt.

In a heartfelt caption alongside an image of the pair, she wrote, "19 years and YES!! we are married!! Thkq to our ‘families’ ❤️ who love us for all these years . We love you and here’s to many more to come ❤️✨❤️✨✨".
