Strictly Come Dancing and Dragons' Den star Sara Davies has joined forces with First Dates' Fred Sirieix for a new wedding series.

BBC Two's Ultimate Wedding Planner will see eight planners compete to transform the nuptials of six real-life couples – though they only have three days to do so.

The show is judged by Sara, Fred and wedding industry expert Raj Somaiya, and is set to debut next month on August 8.

A teaser for the series has also been released, promising a ton of stress and drama, including a bridal delay, a "tacky" chandelier and a peeing horse.

The eight planners competing are Berni, Chantelle, Charlene, Jack, Natasha, Shabana, Toby and Yasmin, and they hail from across the UK in Powys, Belfast, Hull, Leicestershire, London, Plymouth, Kent and Luton.

Sara promoted the show on her Instagram page, writing: "How absolutely awesome does the show look!?! Mark your diaries."

Sara originally rose to fame on Dragons' Den before competing on Strictly in 2021, while Fred is best known as the maître d' on First Dates.

Ultimate Wedding Planner will premiere on Tuesday, August 8 at 9pm on BBC Two.
