Strictly Come Dancing star Kym Marsh shared a heartfelt tribute to her parents yesterday (25 July) on their wedding anniversary.
Taking to Instagram, the 47-year-old posted a picture of her parents kissing at a dinner table with family and friends cheering for them. The picture also featured a cake with a lit sparkler, and a glass of red wine.
In her heartfelt caption, Kym revealed it was her parent's 58th wedding anniversary and expressed how much she loved her parents and was in awe of their strength.
She added, "They really are the perfect couple. The best parents, grandparents and friends you could ever wish for. I am so very proud to be your daughter. Thank you for falling in love all those years ago, thank you for being the most amazing role models in life, for all your support and love, for your friendship and just for being you. I love you so much @daveyboy113 @marshyswife happy anniversary!! ❤️❤️❤️."
The comments were flooded with wishes from fans and friends. Kym's mum, Pauline, also commented on the post saying, "Aww thank you my love, you’ve got me crying now x❤️."
The tribute comes two weeks after Kym celebrated her future son-in-law's birthday. Mikey Hoszowskyj is set to tie the knot with Kym's daughter, Emilie Cunliffe. Calling him a "wonderful human being", she added, "Not long now before the big day and it’s all official kiddo! Thanks for letting us celebrate with you! Such a great family day ❤️"
