Harry Potter's Daniel Radcliffe shares baby update

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has shared a baby update after welcoming his son with partner Erin Darke back in April.

Speaking to Extra, Radcliffe opened up about life as a first-time father, saying it's been a "crazy few months".

Describing his son, Radcliffe said his baby boy has now learnt to smile and laugh.

"He's very cute," Radcliffe said. "We've moved into a less screaming phase and he's now giving us little smiles and giggling."

He added: "It's been a crazy few months, as anyone who's been through parenthood would attest. But it's also the literal best thing that’s ever happened, so it's great. I feel very lucky to be able to have this time with him. It’s awesome."

Previously speaking about the birth of his son, Radcliffe said: "It's a crazy thing, but it's also really beautiful.

"Watching my girlfriend become a mum is really the most incredible, beautiful thing to be witness to. So, it's great."

Opening up about how fatherhood will affect his working life, Radcliffe said he plans to be more choosy with the projects he takes on in the future.

"I'm sure I'm going to probably, for at least a few years, become a little more selective about how much I work just because I really enjoy spending time with him and I'd like to continue doing that," Radcliffe said.

"But obviously, I love my job and I'm not going to stop doing that."
