Former Strictly star Aljaž Škorjanec has taken to social media to share an adorable picture of himself with wife Janette Manrara in celebration of a special anniversary.

The professional dancer posted a snap of him kissing Janette on the cheek in the sunshine, alongside a playful caption wishing his wife a happy wedding anniversary.

He wrote: "Happy sixth (I think) wedding anniversary Bučka💍 You are definitely in my top three favourite people (right now) 😇"

The couple, who are due to welcome their first child together this month, married in 2017 after meeting while they were both auditioning for a touring theatre show.

Aljaž and Janette often give their social media followers an insight into their life together, and have been sharing updates of Janette's pregnancy since they revealed they were expecting earlier this year.

Last week, Janette showed fans around the little one's Disney themed nursery, complete with a teddy bear Aljaž gave her in the early days of their relationship - so sweet!

Alongside the video, Janette revealed: "And one of my favourite bits, the lighter teddy bear in the crib. It’s name is “Ali” and it was one of the first gifts I ever got from @aljazskorjanec 12 years ago when we first started dating. He got it to keep me company on those months that we would have to spend apart from each other. Now, it will keep our little one company as well 🤍"

Janette has since left the ballroom for hosting duties on Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two. In 2022, Aljaž also left Strictly after nine years on the show to pursue his own projects.
