Call the Midwife actress Helen George is recovering from a serious leg injury.
Showing off a handy scooter to zip around on via Instagram yesterday (July 9), her right leg could be seen in a full medical cast – captioning the photo: "Speedy [black heart]."
With no explanation offered, it's unclear whether the TV star has suffered a fracture or break.
Naturally, Helen's fanbase were quick to react in the comment section, complimenting this temporary look while also showering her with well-wishes.
In less painful news (but only just), the Trixie Franklin actress admitted back in March that she worries about the permanence of her Call the Midwife job, despite being in the cast for over a decade.
"You never have complete control. Absolutely, it's a genuine fear," she said.
"You never know. And they might just come to a point where they think, 'Do you know what, we've got nothing more to say about your character. There's nothing left to do with you. So you're off.' It happens."
Call the Midwife airs on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
