The Royal Family have released a sweet photograph of The King and his oldest son, the Prince of Wales to mark a special occasion.
Prince William turned 41 on Wednesday (21 June) and the Royal Family shared a father-son photograph across official social media accounts in honour of his birthday.
The image captures a sweet moment between The King and his oldest son, as Prince William helps fix his father's suit while King Charles laughs.
A caption alongside the image reads, "Wishing The Prince of Wales a very happy birthday today!"
Members of the public took to the comments section of the post to share their best wishes to the Prince, writing, "Happy birthday to The Prince of Wales. Keep on shining William!" and "Happy birthday to the prince Williams our prince of Wales. Wishing you long life, and prosperity". Another comment read, "What a beautiful picture of dad and son!"
In honour of Father's Day on Sunday (18 June) the Royal Family paid tribute to three important dads in the family, with a selection of photographs.
The first image showed The King and his father, the late Duke of Edinburgh, while another showed The King with his own sons, Prince William and Harry, as teenagers.
Prince William also marked the occasion with a special post on the social media account he shares with the Princess of Wales, posting two Father's Day portraits with their three children.
In the image, the Prince of Wales grins with his arms around Princess Charlotte and Prince George while his youngest child, Prince Louis, sits on his knee.
