Dawn French has announced a new book which she revealed will document many of the mistakes she has made in her life.
In a video shared to her Instagram account, Dawn discussed her latest project and revealed a little about what to expect from the pages. She also shared the inspiration behind the book, and what she hopes others will get out of it.
In her memoir, The Twat Files, Dawn explained that she will be sharing her "faux pas" and "stupid decisions" and added that there were a lot more than she had initially realised.
She added that she was known for a few things, but that "perfection" wasn't one of them. Dawn went onto explain that her book would be "butting against being perfect" and said, "Let's celebrate all our flaws and the mistakes we make."
"Here we go folks! #thetwatfiles coming Oct 12th. Pre order from your fave book place now, if you wanna be swanky," she captioned the clip on social media.
Dawn's book is available to pre-order now at a number of retailers:
Famous friends and fans were quick to comment on the post, sharing their excitement at the book's release. Fearne Cotton and Ruth Langsford were just two of those who couldn't wait for the book's official release in October later this year.
"The world SO needs people like you, darling Dawn French!!!" wrote one fan, while another added, "Imperfection is perfection to me 😍 can't wait to read it!"
