"I am a granny number two - number three now!" Sarah says, correcting herself, adding she was very much a "doting granny".

She also revealed the name her grandchildren call her; "GG. I am GG, doting GG," before opening up about the newest addition to her family.

"He's a very, very, seriously beautiful little boy. Now, of course, everybody says that, but of course he is," she says.

One of Ernest's middle names is Ronnie, in honour of Princess Eugenie's grandfather and Sarah Ferguson's father, Ronald.

"Jack and I wanted to share the news that we had our little boy, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank on 30th May 2023 at 8.49 weighing 7.1lbs. He is named after his great great great Grandfather George, his Grandpa George and my Grandpa Ronald," Princess Eugenie wrote in her initial announcement.

Included in the post was an adorable photo of her new baby alongside another of him sleeping while her first child, August, strokes his new brother's head.

"Augie is loving being a big brother already," she added.
