Book Club: The Next Chapter premieres on 12 May in the UK — and Good Housekeeping has been granted an exclusive clip to share with readers ahead of everyone else!
Following the first film Book Club (2018), Book Club: The Next Chapter will follow the same four friends as they navigate their next adventure. An official synopsis reads: "The highly anticipated sequel follows our four best friends as they take their book club to Italy for the fun girls trip they never had. When things go off the rails and secrets are revealed, their relaxing vacation turns into a once-in-a-lifetime cross-country adventure."
Fans will be thrilled to hear that Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen, and Mary Steenburgen will all be reprising their original roles. They will be joined by an all-star cast, consisting of Craig T. Nelson, Giancarlo Giannini, with Andy Garcia, and Don Johnson — and Bill Holderman returns to direct.

Book Club: The Next Chapter is the sequel to Book Club — which was released in 2018. The film followed Diane (Diane Keaton), Vivian (Jane Fonda), Sharon (Candice Bergen) and Carol (Mary Steenburgen) as four friends who have attended a monthly book club together for 40 years. After reading Fifty Shades of Grey together, they begin to re-evaluate their lives, friendships and relationships — with humorous and heartwarming consequences.
