It also features a range of symbolic illustrations including a motif of the Green Man, an ancient figure from British folklore, and King Charles III and Queen Camilla's coat of arms.

The original artwork of the invite has been carefully hand-painted in watercolour and gouache, an opaque type of paint. The invite will also be printed in recycled card, with gold foil detailing.

In the invitation uses the title of Queen Camilla for the first time in an official capacity, as Camilla has previously been referred to as The Queen Consort since the death of Queen Elizabeth II last September.

The invite will be sent to over 2,000 guests and provides the address of the historical event, which will take place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday (6 May).

Alongside the amazing invitation, The Royal Family have also released photos of historical coronation invitations of previous British monarchs, including the late Queen Elizabeth II's coronation.

The Queen Elizabeth II coronation invitation was revealed by The Royal Family to be the young Prince Charles' own specially illustrated invitation.

The event took place on 2 June 1953 and the invitation features Grenadier Guards, United Kingdom flags and a Royal Coat of Arms Lion.
