Gogglebox star unveils new hair transformation on the show

Gogglebox's Ellie Warner debuted a new haircut in the latest episode of the Channel 4 show.

A section from the Friday, March 31 episode saw Ellie showing off her short bob to sister Izzi, who joked that it reminded her of their aunty Doreen.

Despite the gentle ribbing, at least Izzi noticed the change. Ellie told her sibling that her boyfriend Nat Eddleston didn't even realise at first, but once he did, he called it a "mum cut."

She took it all in good spirits, which is good because Ellie previously shared the lovely news that she and her boyfriend are currently expecting a baby.

A few weeks ago, Ellie revealed that she had been diagnosed with gestational diabetes, which means that the body isn't producing enough insulin and has a high blood sugar level whilst pregnant.

Thankfully it can be managed if noticed early and measures are taken, and Ellie has joked that the only form of sugar she is consuming at the moment is watching Alan Sugar on The Apprentice. Gestational diabetes usually subsides after pregnancy.

Recently, Malone parents Tom and Julie shared their advice for anyone who gets cast on the show in future.

"Just be yourself, because the public are very good at picking out people that are natural and what have you – so, just be yourself," Julie said.

Considering the Malone family have been a part of Gogglebox since the fourth series in 2014, we'd say that they know what they are talking about. In fact, the only people who have been on Gogglebox longer than the Malone are the Siddiqui family and Stephen Webb, who has been joined by different people over the years.
