A new family portrait has been released of the Princess of Wales and her three children, which was shared to official royal social channels on Sunday (19 March).
In the new portrait, Kate sits in a tree alongside Princes George and Louis, and Princess Charlotte. In the adorable image, the family sits side by side smiling at the camera, as dappled sunlight shines on them through the leaves of the tree.
For the photograph, the family all wear casual clothes, with the children in various denim and shorts combinations. Prince Louis wears a classic Breton striped polo shirt with denim shorts, while his older brother does almost the reverse in a denim polo and dark shorts.
Princess Charlotte looks adorable in denim playsuit with pom pom detailing around the short sleeves.
Kate, on the other hand, sits between her children in jeans and a white Broderie shirt. In a second image shared alongside the new portrait, Kate cradles Prince Louis and smiles down at him as the pair have fun together.
The new portraits were released to coincide with Mothering Sunday over the weekend (Sunday 19 March) and the caption alongside the images reads: "Happy Mother’s Day from our family to yours," with a red heart emoji.
The image appears to have been taken during the same photoshoot which captured the family's official Christmas card photograph.
In it, Kate and the children wear the same clothes as they do in Mother's Day portrait and all hold hands in a line with Prince William.
